Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Dirk Koetter will return to the team for the 2018 season.
Sources informed NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport of the decision.
Koetter has led the Buccaneers the past two seasons with mixed results. Through 31 games, Koetter has a 13-18 record with no playoff appearances.
A year ago, Dirk Koetter went 9-7 and the Bucs missed the post-season by the third tie-breaker to the Detroit Lions.
That doesn't mean Koetter won't have potential hurdles to clear in 2018, including an ongoing National Football League investigation into Winston's alleged sexual misconduct and potential impending divorces with high-profile offensive stars DeSean Jackson and Doug Martin. Despite reports of tension between Winston and Koetter, Tampa's starting quarterback has been supportive of the the head coach.

Cardi B Live Sex Vid with Offset? Sure Looks Like It
A rep for Cardi B told TMZ that the video was just a joke and that Cardi B and Offset weren't actually having sex. Cardi B didn't confirm it was her in the footage, but she didn't do much to dissuade the gossip either.
With that said, the Glazers and Licht felt it was appropriate to give Koetter another year. "He came in - then he was the OC". We spend so much time together - me, him, (quarterbacks coach Mike) Bajakian and those other quarterbacks - it's like a family. Koetter has been there since year one with Winston and should have an opportunity at a third season.
The Bucs have played tough down the stretch.
Injuries also were a major factor in the record this season. His injury hampered the team in more than just the three games he missed.
The Bucs have invested heavily in surrounding Winston with a supporting cast on offense at the expense of their defense. Tampa Bay absolutely failed to live up to expectations this season and will once again be seen as a team that needs to take a huge step in 2018 for Koetter to be seen as a success.
