Wearing hard hats, goggles and high visibility jackets, William and Kate tightened a couple of nuts on the £117 million infrastructure project aimed at helping with the regeneration of the city.
The design was created by 18-year-old Shajida Begum.
"They both leaned in close and spoke slower and sweeter with soft tones so she could understand them, then were very attentive with her and spent time to make sure she knew she was a special guest", Hunter told INSIDER.
Begum relayed to reporters the moment Kate made a decision to get the henna: "I said, 'Would you like a design?' and she was like, 'Yes, if you don't mind.'" Apparently, Kate's a big fan of the tiny tattoo.
"I just told her that I was in bare feet and I felt - I told her she should take her shoes off cause she's pregnant", she said.
