On Friday, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the Browns are sending second-year quarterback DeShone Kizer to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for cornerback Damarious Randall. Entering the 2015 NFL Draft, he was the top-rated free safety prospect, but Green Bay made a decision to move him to cornerback where he's spent most of his career. The teams also swapped picks in the fourth and fifth rounds, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Kizer was chosen 52nd overall in the 2017 National Football League draft by the Browns. The former Notre Dame quarterback started 15 games as a rookie with the Browns, but he apparently has been identified by new G.M. John Dorsey as a player who needed to go - possibly due in part to the 28 turnovers he generated previous year. He and Rodgers were the only quarterbacks on the roster before the Kizer trade. Brett Hundley failed to impress during his nine starts last season, so Kizer could be an upgrade with the right development.

But McCarthy added, "I believe in Brett Hundley. That's something that we have to learn from, and that stings". "He has a big upside". McCarthy stood by him, however, and the coach's patience seemingly paid off as Randall bounced back and played well in the weeks that followed. However, his 22 interceptions led the league.
The deal confirmed Friday includes $55 million guaranteed and also makes Evans the highest-paid player with the Buccaneers with an average annual salary of $16.5 million. "It's the offseason and I just want to stay out of it". As for Randall, the first-round pick out of Arizona State has been a playmaker since entering the league and has 10 interceptions in three seasons. Tags, cuts, free agency, the draft, undrafted free agency, veteran cap casualties, training camp signings-it all represents the pieces.
