Bannon has already spoken in Zurich, Switzerland at an event organized by a conservative publication, and on Saturday headlined the annual conference for France's National Front.
"You're part of a worldwide movement bigger than France, bigger than Italy", said Bannon.
The outcome of Italy's election last week has energised France's far right after the Five Star Movement and the anti-immigration League beat the traditional parties.
The far-right party held its conference in Lille, where Bannon was reportedly introduced by leader Marine Le Pen, and made some eyebrow raising remarks.
"Right or left doesn't mean anything and doesn't reflect the real division in France today which is between those who feel the nation is an obstacle and those who feel the nation is a jewel to be defended", she said.
The party canvassed 51,000 members past year about the name change proposal and on Saturday it emerged just 52 per cent had voted in favour among the 30,000 who responded.
"The National Front has changed in nature". The former Goldman Sachs investment banker, who was ousted from the White House past year and stepped down as chairman of Breitbart News Network in January, has visited Switzerland - he gave his first European speech in Zurich earlier in the week - and Italy, where voters last Sunday elected a parliament dominated by anti-immigrant populists.

Bannon spoke only about the 28-year-old neice at the joint news conference with Marechal-Le Pen.
Marion Marechal-Le Pen, a former lawmaker, is more socially conservative and economically liberal than her aunt.
A new name, a new leadership structure and new bylaws are being unveiled at the two-day congress in Lille with the hope the anti-immigration party can become relevant again.
"Our dear President Trump said: 'We've had enough of globalists, '" he said. "He has understood like Trump, Matteo Salvini and Marine Le Pen the wish of the people to control their own destiny", he tweeted. Jean-Marie Le Pen also is to be scratched from the party's books along with his title of honorary president-for-life, formally closing, if not ending, a bitter father-daughter feud.
National Front leader Marine Le Pen is working to unite her divided party and bolster her ability to lead it as the party meets for the first time since she lost resoundingly to Emmanuel Macron in the final round of the French presidential election last May.
An election next year for members of the European Union's lawmaking arm will be the National Front's first chance to test its rebranding strategy.
Recent polling showed that 55% of respondents don't want Le Pen to run in the next election.
