Police now allege McArthur killed Faizi "on or about" December 29, 2010, according to documents filed in court Wednesday.
The latest murder charge is in connection with the death of 42-year-old Abdulbasir Faizi, one of three missing men whose disappearances were probed by Toronto police's special investigation, Project Houston.
Police found the remains of seven men hidden in large garden planters at a midtown home where McArthur stored his landscaping equipment.

On Jan. 29, police laid three additional first-degree murder charges in the deaths of Majeed Kayhan, Soroush Mahmudi, and Dean Lisowick. McArthur had already been charged with the murders of Esen and Lisowick.
McCarthur was charged with a sixth count of first-degree murder on February 23 for the death of Skandaraj Navaratnam, 40, who hadn't been seen since September 2010.
