In Battlefield V, embark on a continuing, grand journey post-launch in the brand new Tides of War, created to make sure the battlefield is constantly evolving with new events, challenges, battles, and rewards that are always within reach - for all Battlefield V owners*.
Last week Call of Duty revealed the next game in that series, Black Ops 4, will feature a dedicated battle royale mode for the first time rather than a single player campaign.
EA has unveiled Battlefield 5 and numerous details fans want to know.
The Tides of War are changing.
The big new mode for multiplayer in Battlefield V is Grand Operations, which builds upon the popular Operations mode first introduced in Battlefield 1, which similarly combines several modes and maps over one big match.

Science doesn't quite know why you hear Yanny or Laurel
But just about everyone is pointing to this Reddit post from Roland Camry as the original source of the Laurel-Yanny conundrum. Many Twitter users replied saying that they could only hear " Yanny ", while those on the " Laurel " camp insisted the same.
Battlefield V is coming and it is coming with so many great features and improvements that many shooters only dream of having. EA Access and Origin members will get access on October 11, a week ahead of the October 19th launch date. No one will need to pay for additional maps or modes that DICE releases.
Construction aspects are also being brought into the game.
New to Battlefield 5 is the Company, your "personalized collection of customized soldiers, weapons, and vehicles that you can tailor and grow as you play". As reports suggested, it is indeed taking us back to World War II. In that you got a few expansions (usually four) for a discounted price, as well as a few other perks like regular battle packs and priority queuing for multiplayer servers.
Interestingly, the reveal trailer was deemed to be representative of the Xbox One experience by the developers, suggesting that Battlefield V PC could look much better at maximum settings.
As for the trailer, it's incredibly unlikely that your actual gameplay experience will even remotely resemble what was shown. Hopefully, DICE redeems themselves at E3 next month.
