HMD Global has finally launched its long-rumoured Nokia X6 smartphone. There is also a notch on the display, which is the reason why the smartphone has a taller aspect ratio. It is powered by the Snapdragon 636 mobile platform and comes with a dual rear camera setup.
Nokia X6 has a glass body. The device comes loaded with a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The Nokia X6 is fueled by a Snapdragon 636 SoC combined with 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of inward stockpiling or 6GB of RAM and 64GB stockpiling. It will include an internal storage of 64GB, and is upgradable via a microSD card slot up to 128GB. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia X6 packs a 16-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The front houses as a 16MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Nokia X6 will be available in China in Blue, Black and Silver color options starting from May 21.
The report speculates that HMD Global may have opted to emulate old Nokia's strategy of launching devices under the N-series, X-series and the C-series. It also offers the Bothie feature, letting users utilise both front and rear cameras simultaneously. In terms of specifications, Nokia X6 sports the following dimensions 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99mm (excluding lens) while with the lens the thickness comes to 8.59mm. At the same time, 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage variant will be sold at CNY 1,499 (about 16,000 INR). The base variant of the Nokia X6 with 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage is priced at 1299 Yuan.
