Originally leaked by JeuxVideo, a piece of collectible merchandise - a keychain with a Roman or Greek helmet - is shown, giving credence to the ideas of an Assassin's Creed: Origins sequel. Personally, the high points of the series for me remain Assassin's Creed III and Black Flag, the latter of which brought the delightful possibility of sea-traveling to the series. After a series of progressively less-interesting yearly instalments that did little to push the series forward, Origins finally gave the game the full-on reboot it deserved. The game is expected to have dialogue choices, which would be a first for the series.

Ubisoft have confirmed the existence of the next Assassin's Creed title following a leak via slightly unconventional means. E3 is nearly here, so expect a full reveal during the big show. Sources confirmed to Kotaku that this next entry in the franchise will take place in ancient Greece and that it will released before the end of Ubisoft's fiscal year 2019, which ends March 31 of next year.
