Marvel has released the trailer for the upcoming X-Men movie Dark Phoenix and it looks quite promising.

The film - a continuation of "First Class", "Days of Future Past" and "Apocalypse" - is an adaptation of the "Dark Phoenix Saga" from the Marvel comics, which finds Jean Grey (Sophie Turner) turning to the, well, dark side after an nearly fatal accident in space. As she battles with this new reality, Jean unleashes her powers in ways she can't understand or contain. Check out the X-Men: Dark Phoenix motion poster below! With this family beginning to crumble, they must find a way to unite to save Jean's soul and to prevent aliens from weaponizing on this new power and taking over the galaxy.

But now it's officially online for fans to watch, excitement is sure to build - despite delays in the release from its initial due date of March this year. Sound clips from the film are played in the background, and the clip ends with the announcement that the official trailer drops tonight. Pretty much, the quality was garbage, and if you actually wanted to see and appreciate some real details regarding the film, you should probably have steered clear. I kind of appreciate that, as it seems to indicate they have faith enough in the project not to wholly rely on the branding. Nothing that blew me away but I'm quite sure Sophie and Fassbender will be great in this at the very least. With both Dark Phoenix and Game of Thrones season 8 coming out in 2019, we are truly blessed when it comes to Sophie Turner content! Big problem of the movies is the chaotic timeline.
